So, how do we do that? We start with DECIDING that a mediocre marriage is not what we are after, so we work with intention for a marriage that thrives. Next, we find others who share our vision and mindset. A wise sailor once said, "A rising tide raises all ships," and we believe this paints a perfect picture of doing marriage as a community. Then, we find larger groups of people who are doing what we aspire to do with marriage, and we join them. Lastly, we don't stop simply because we get tired or because there is a newer shinier object vying for our devoted attention.
Thriving marriages are not something you attain, then move on. Thriving marriages happen when we decide they are worth pursuing, even if it takes an entire lifetime to accomplish—even if it takes an entire lifetime to get close.
Become obsessed with the most important relationship your will ever have on earth—your marriage.
